Supporting the Case Bill: A Letter from D. M. Tyler, 1946-02-04 - 1946-02-04
Scope and Contents
Mr. D.M. Tyler wrote to Congressman George B. Schwabe expressing his support for the Case Bill (H.R. 5262), despite its imperfections. He believes the bill, if properly enforced, will help improve conditions for the public and prevent minority groups from controlling the country to the detriment of the people. Tyler acknowledges that the Senate may not pass the bill and the President may veto it, but he believes it is important to take action in the best interest of the public. Schwabe responded that he supported the bill and voted for it in the House.
