Concerns of a War Worker: A Letter to Honorable George B. Schwabe, 1945-03-09 - 1945-03-09
Scope and Contents
The letter is from a war worker expressing frustration with the lack of production in war plants in Tulsa. The writer believes that there are too many men in the plants and that production is being hindered intentionally in order to make more money. They suggest that someone should work in the plants for a few months to see the extent of the fraud happening. The writer also mentions that they have two brothers in the army and are eager for the war to be over. They believe that the cost-plus basis of the plants is detrimental to the war effort. The letter is signed "a Republican."
