Scope and Contents

Mr. Shaffer of Crockett's Bakery in Pawhuska, Oklahoma wrote a letter to George B. Schwabe protesting against Bill S 1349, the Fair Labor Standards Act. Shaffer believes there are already too many regulations and price increases affecting small businesses like his bakery, and he does not want to come under the Wage and Hour Law. Schwabe agrees with Shaffer's concerns and expresses his opposition to government intervention and regulations that he believes are hindering small business operations. Schwabe appreciates Shaffer's letter and vows to continue fighting against such measures.
