Scope and Contents

Mr. Frank Quinton, an Osage Tribal Councilman, has written to Representative George Schwabe expressing the tribe's desire to come to Washington to discuss legislation and present their budget before the House Appropriations Committee. They are opposed to the views of their current agent, Mr. I. B. Hall, and are seeking support from Representative Schwabe. Representative Schwabe has offered to help facilitate their appearance before the appropriate committees and is willing to assist in addressing their tribal problems.
