Scope and Contents
Bruce G. Carter, President of Northeastern A. & M. College in Miami, Oklahoma, wrote to Representative George B. Schwabe urging support for a bill to increase federal housing for veterans under the Lanham Act. Carter expressed concern about the lack of housing facilities for veterans and the need for additional funding. Schwabe responded, informing Carter that the bill had passed the House almost unanimously and assuring him of his support.
