Concerns About Housing Crisis: A Plea to Congressman Schwabe, 1946-11-25 - 1946-11-25

Scope and Contents

Mrs. H.K. Hibbard wrote a letter to Congressman Schwabe expressing her frustration with the housing situation and urging for action to be taken against Mr. Wilson Wyatt, who she believes is not competent to handle the housing crisis. The Congressman's secretary, V.W. Dryden, responded, assuring Mrs. Hibbard that her letter will be brought to the Congressman's attention upon his return to Washington. Dryden also acknowledged the seriousness of the housing situation and mentioned that it will be addressed by Congress early in its session.
