Mrs. Gertrude Boyer is writing to Congressman George B. Schwabe in hopes of extending the REA line to service her home in Nowata, Oklahoma. She mentions that her family and neighbors are eager for the service, and provides a sketch of the area to show the distance between her home and the end of the current line. Congressman Schwabe responds, requesting more information about other subscribers in the area who may also benefit from the extension. He expresses willingness to assist with the request.
