Scope and Contents

The letter from Clay A. Babb to George B. Schawabe requests assistance in obtaining a new preference rating for materials needed to complete the Honey Creek Bridge project. The project was originally shut down by the War Production Board, but permission to proceed was granted in December 1944. Babb also expresses interest in receiving Congressional Records and mentions upcoming bridge work in Delaware County. Schawabe responds by offering assistance and stating that he will ensure Babb's name is placed on the mailing list to receive the Congressional Record.
