Kelly Tractor & Implement Company wrote to Congressman George B. Schwabe expressing their opposition to the OPA's policy of making retailers absorb price increases. They urged Schwabe to oppose this measure and provided information on the Smith Committee's investigation. Schwabe assured them of his sympathy and support in their appeal.
