Scope and Contents
The National Livestock Producers Association is reaching out to United States Senators and Congressmen to ask for assistance in freeing the live stock and meat industry from subsidy and price restrictions. They have sent a statement to the Secretary of Agriculture and the Administrator of the Office of Price Administration, and are asking for support in placing the industry on a sound basis during the economic conditions of the country. They list various member agencies and subsidiaries in different states.
