Scope and Contents

George B. Schwabe, a member of the House of Representatives, received a letter from Chester Bowles, Administrator of the Office of Price Administration, in response to a telegram Schwabe sent regarding quota bases assigned by the War Food Administration. Bowles confirmed that the quota bases assigned will remain valid during the interim quota period. Schwabe expressed his determination to continue challenging the bureau with the support of his constituents.
