Request for Information on Metal Ore Analysis in Washington, D.C., 1946-01-30
Scope and Contents
Mr. Lee O. Mitchell wrote a letter to Congressman George B. Schwabe asking for the address of the office or department in Washington that analyzes metal ores. Congressman Schwabe responded, informing Mitchell that the government does not test for private concerns but individuals can send samples to the Bureau of Mines for analysis. He also mentioned that he had a successful trip to Claremore and is willing to help further if needed.
