Request for Wall Map of the United States, 1945-01-12
Scope and Contents
The document is a series of letters written by George B. Schwabe, a member of the House of Representatives, requesting a wall map of the United States for official use in his office. The letters show his correspondence with the Bureau of Land Management in the Department of the Interior to request the map. Additionally, there is a letter from Schwabe to a friend discussing waste in government departments and enclosing a soil survey report that he saved from being discarded.
