Update on Osage Indian Affairs in Washington, 1946-03-19
Scope and Contents
The letter from George B. Schwabe to Frank McCoy discusses the visit of Osage Superintendent, Tribal Attorney, and members of the Osage Council to Washington. They were primarily interested in the Hulah Dam project and appeared before a House subcommittee on appropriations. Schwabe assures McCoy that the visit was not related to legislation affecting the Osage Indians and their interests. McCoy is encouraged to reach out for any further information or assistance.
