Congressman George B. Schwabe assisted Ralph Franklin McCord in expediting the payment of his claim from the Navy Disbursing Office. After contacting the General Accounting Office, it was determined that a check for $313.12 would be sent to McCord, along with an apology for the delay. Schwabe's secretary followed up with the office to ensure that the payment would be sent promptly.
