Scope and Contents
The United States Civil Service Commission in Washington, D.C. is accepting applications for War Service Appointments as Engineering Draftsman with salaries ranging from $1,704 to $2,980 a year. Positions are located in the Metropolitan Area of Washington, D.C. Applicants must meet specific experience requirements and must submit the necessary forms by January 8, 1946. Veteran preference is given, and substitution of education for experience is accepted. Appointments will be war service appointments of indefinite duration. Applicants must also submit samples of their work.
