Accepting Applications for War Service Appointments as Civil Engineering Aid, 1945-11-05
Scope and Contents
The United States Civil Service Commission in Washington, D.C. is accepting applications for war service appointments as Civil Engineering Aids with salaries ranging from $2,100 to $2,320 a year. Applicants must have experience in civil engineering and be physically capable of performing the duties. No written test is required, and appointments will be war service appointments of indefinite duration. Veteran preference is given under certain conditions. Applications must be filed with the Commission and proof of qualifications may be requested.
