Resolution No. 28: Proposal for Dividing Government Land for Sale to Disabled Veterans and Merchant Marines, 1945-01-01 - 1946-12-31
Scope and Contents
The resolution is calling for the investigation of dividing government-owned land and selling houses to disabled ex-service men and women and Merchant Marines from World War I and II. The land in question is currently used for the operation of the Oklahoma Ordnance Works and includes prefabricated houses and dormitories. The resolution highlights the feasibility of this plan, as well as the recreational amenities in the area.
