Correspondence Regarding Spanish American War Veterans' Service Duration, 1946-05-15
Scope and Contents
Mr. John C. Head Jr. wrote a letter to George B. Schwabe, a member of Congress, requesting information about the number of veterans of the Spanish American War who served less than 70 days. Schwabe responded that obtaining this information would require a significant amount of money and effort, and that the Veterans Administration had advised the same. Therefore, he was unable to provide further information on the subject.
