Scope and Contents

Mrs. Deborah Jacobs from Sand Springs, Oklahoma sent a letter to Rep. George Schwabe requesting his support for the purchase of Temple Heights in Washington D.C. through HR 2210 and S. J. Res. 50. Rep. Schwabe responded, stating that he will carefully consider the bills once they are brought before Congress and hopes his vote will meet Mrs. Jacobs' approval. Mrs. Jacobs' letter was on behalf of the Ladies of the Grand Army of the Republic, requesting support for a memorial building for foreign war veterans.
