1945 Correspondence Between Miss Louise Peterman and Congressman George B. Schwabe Regarding the Veterans' Adjusted-Service Act, 1945-08-21

Miss Louise Peterman, Legislative Chairman of V.F.W. Auxiliary 3689 in Sand Springs, Oklahoma, wrote a letter to Congressman George B. Schwabe requesting his support for HR 127, the Veterans' Adjusted-Service Act of 1945. The letter was acknowledged by Miss Camille M. Gameau, Secretary of the Ladies Auxiliary to the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States, assuring Peterman that Schwabe, who has four sons in the service, is a friend to veterans. Gameau promised to bring Peterman's letter to Schwabe's attention.
