Scope and Contents
This bill, introduced in the 79th Congress, grants certain tax benefits to members and former members of the armed forces who were disabled as a result of disease or injury incurred during their military or naval service. The amendment made by this bill applies to taxable years beginning after December 31, 1939, and any tax paid by these individuals will be refunded as an overpayment.
