Scope and Contents

The bill introduced by Mr. Izaac in the House of Representatives in 1945 aims to acquire the property known as Temple Heights to be used as a recreation center for Government employees during the war, and later as a site for a memorial building dedicated to the sacrifices of defenders of the Union during the Civil War and to the American youth who sacrificed their lives in battle.
