Scope and Contents

Mr. Burt is writing to Congressman Schwabe expressing his disappointment in Schwabe's supposed support for subsidies on stripper oil production. Burt believes the subsidies are a result of a poorly thought out plan by an Indian Agent and criticizes the economic implications of such subsidies. He also urges Schwabe to reconsider his support for the subsidies and to prioritize sound economic principles. Burt also mentions his intention to campaign against the subsidies and bring attention to the issue.
