Scope and Contents

J.W. Bollinger writes to Hon. George B. Schwabe suggesting an improvement to the Social Security Act, specifically addressing the requirement that a worker must work at least 50% of their time in a covered occupation to receive benefits upon reaching retirement age. Bollinger believes this provision is unfair and undemocratic, and should be removed from the law. Schwabe acknowledges the suggestion and thanks Bollinger for bringing the matter to his attention.
