Mrs. Pratt wrote to Representative George B. Schwabe expressing her opposition to the Wagner-Murray-Dingell Bill and other socialized medicine bills, which she believes would be a burden to the public and a step towards socialism. Representative Schwabe responded, reaffirming his opposition to socialized medicine and urging Mrs. Pratt to contact her own Congressman to find out their position on the issue.
