Scope and Contents
Dr. Harry L. Bannister wrote a letter to Hon. George B. Schwabe asking him to vote against the Warner-Murray-Dingell Bill and to vote for bills S. 190 and S. 1099. Schwabe responded stating that he is not in favor of socialized medicine or the socialization of any profession, and that he will not vote for any such law. He also mentioned his close association with and support from physicians, dentists, and druggists in his district.
