Scope and Contents

Mr. Emmett Brown, a District Agent of the United States Indian Service, wrote a letter to Congressman Schwabe urging his support for Senate Bill S. 807, which aims to improve the salaries and working conditions of Federal employees. The Congressman is currently attending hearings in Tulsa and the bill is still in committee. Mrs. A. L. Warren, the congressman's secretary, assured Mr. Brown that the congressman is interested in the welfare of Federal employees and will give the bill earnest consideration when it reaches the House floor.
