Correspondence Regarding National Labor Relations Board Cases, 1945-10-09
Scope and Contents
The text consists of a series of letters written by George B. Schwabe, M.C. in response to complaints from Mrs. Thelma Chapman, Mrs. T. Gladys Bryant, and Miss Alma Beckner regarding the National Labor Relations Board. Schwabe acknowledges the complaints and expresses his opinion that the Board is controlled by the New Deal group and may not act in the best interests of individual American citizens. He promises to forward the letters to the Board for consideration but expresses skepticism about the likelihood of relief for the people as long as the current government continues to run the affairs of the country.
