Correspondence Regarding Meeting with Congressman Schwabe, 1945-07-19

 Item — Box: 3, Folder: 27
Identifier: CAC_CC_047_1_3_27_0006

Scope and Contents

Mr. Whitehorn wrote a letter to Congressman Schwabe requesting a meeting to discuss important matters related to Indian war subjects and land titles. The Congressman's office received the letter after he had left for a congressional recess, but they assured Whitehorn that the Congressman would address his concerns as soon as possible. The Congressman was currently spending time with his son before he was retrained and sent to the Pacific Combat Zone, so it might take a week or two before Whitehorn hears from him. The office expressed their willingness to assist Whitehorn in the Congressman's absence.
