The text is a series of correspondence between the Law Offices of Bishop & Wantland and the Honorable Carl Albert regarding an invitation for him to attend a meeting of the General Council of the Seminole Nation of Oklahoma. The Council unanimously passed a resolution inviting him to speak at their meeting on June 6, 1970, but due to a prior commitment, he suggests meeting on June 27 instead. The Law Offices provide information on the topics of interest to the Seminole Nation, including legislation affecting Indians and the status of certain bills. They express anticipation for his visit on the 27th and provide suggestions for his speech.
