Scope and Contents

The Principal Chief of the Choctaw Nation is writing to Congressman Carl Albert to expreSpeaker Carl Albert concern about a proposal to remove Indian Housing from HUD and place it under the Equal Opportunity Program. He urges Congressman Albert to resist this proposal and protect the beneficial Indian Housing program. Congressman Albert responds, acknowledging the concern and stating his commitment to ensuring the program's continuation.
