Scope and Contents

Carl Albert, a congressman from Oklahoma, has heard rumors that a number of Probate Attorneys in Oklahoma may be separated from the service, which would negatively impact the necessary services provided to the Indians. He requests the Commissioner of the Bureau of Indian Affairs to look into the matter and ensure that enough Probate Attorneys are kept to properly carry out their work.
