Correspondence Between C. Jared Ingersoll and Senator Elmer Thomas Regarding Apartment for Democratic National Convention, 1948-04-09
Scope and Contents
C. Jared Ingersoll, Chairman of the Board of Midland Valley Railroad Co. and other railway companies, received a letter from Elmer Thomas offering his apartment during the Democratic National Convention. Ingersoll had previously offered the apartment to Thomas through Worley Lefever. Ingersoll thanked Thomas for the offer and expressed his readiness to meet him in person.
