Update on Federal Education Funding Allocation for Oklahoma City Board of Education, 1953-01-23
Scope and Contents
Ralph Ball called to inform the Senator that $900,000 had been granted to the Oklahoma City Board of Education. He suggested that the Senator receive credit for the money when it is released to the media, but was hesitant about claiming credit himself. Mr. Ball mentioned that the money was allocated in lieu of a loss of taxes due to government operations. The Senator's assistant, Lucille, relayed this information to the Senator and noted that Don McBride was also aware of it.
