Scope and Contents

Senator Robert S. Kerr received a letter from the Broken Bow Lions Club, Chamber of Commerce, and Junior Chamber of Commerce requesting a Weather Bureau station in Broken Bow, Oklahoma. The Weather Bureau responded stating that they are aware of the need for weather services in the area, but do not have the capacity to establish a station in Broken Bow at the present time. They will, however, consider increasing weather services in the future. Senator Kerr forwarded the response to the Broken Bow organizations for their information.
