Senator Kerr received a letter from Mrs. Perry regarding the need for further study on Communication Satellite legislation before final action is taken. Mrs. Perry expressed concerns about the selection of directors, issuing securities, auditing, and personnel procedures. Senator Kerr assured her that the Senate Foreign Relations Committee is holding hearings on the matter and that there will be an extended debate and consideration of amendments. He thanked Mrs. Perry for her suggestions and agreed that public discussions should take place before final decisions are made.
