Request for Clarification on Contract Termination Dates in Harjo V. Andrus Case, 1977-12-08
Scope and Contents
The text includes two letters, one from Dewey F. Bartlett thanking Chief Cox for keeping him informed about the Creek Nation's requests for separate counsel and interpretation of the Harjo Court Order, and another from Chief Cox to Assistant Secretary Forrest Gerard expressing concern about the Muskogee Area Office's interpretation of contract termination dates in relation to the Harjo Court Order.
