Scope and Contents
Mrs. Lucille Hartridge requested information regarding the Creek Tribe, including legislation, brochures, and Indian grants. Senator Dewey F. Bartlett responded by requesting the Bureau of Indian Affairs to provide her with the information. Additionally, a plan for the use of $450,000 awarded to the Creek Nation by the Indian Claims Commission was announced, with the funds to be used to pay off debt and develop facilities at the Creek Nation Capital Complex.
