Scope and Contents

A special meeting of Creek Tribal Town representatives is scheduled for May 17, 1975 at Henrietta High School Auditorium in Henrietta, Oklahoma. The meeting will address various topics including BIA trust responsibilities, Creek claims, financial status of Creek Nation, and the need for a Creek Council to represent the 44 Tribal Towns. All members of the Muskogee (Creek) Tribe are urged to attend and participate in the meeting.
