Scope and Contents
The Women's Speaker's Bureau is a committee of the Democratic National Committee that works to promote women's involvement in politics. Mrs. Fred R. Harris is a member of the bureau and was invited to a tea at the White House, but was unable to attend. She expresses her regret at not being able to attend and her hope to be more involved in the future.
