Scope and Contents

Governor David L. Boren of Oklahoma contacted Congressman James R. Jones to address the lack of funding in the 1979 federal budget for the Bureau of Reclamation's participation in Oklahoma's Comprehensive Water Plan. Congressman Jones assured Governor Boren that he would work with the Oklahoma Congressional Delegation to secure proper funding for the program.
