Barbara Roan expresses concern over the cutback in funding for Title IV of the Indian Education Act. Congressman James R. Jones contacts Chairman Yates to push for the restoration of the funding. The House of Representatives later votes to restore $12,200,000 in funding for Title IV Indian Education programs. Jones informs Roan of this positive development and expresses hope for success in the Senate.
