Issues with Indian Enumeration Process in Oklahoma: Correspondence with Vincent Barabbas, 1980-05-29
Scope and Contents
The letter is from James R. Jones, a Member of Congress, to Mr. Vincent Barabbas, the Director of the Bureau of Census. Jones is expressing his dissatisfaction with a meeting he had with George Hall, a staff member of Barabbas, regarding the Indian enumeration process in Oklahoma. Jones states that Hall did not address the issues raised by the Oklahoma delegation and did not justify the discrepancies in cost estimates. Jones requests that Barabbas personally look into the situation and provide information and comments.
