George Bulette of the Kansas Delawares writes to James R. Jones, a representative from Washington D.C., asking him to attempt to get a bill killed in committee that would divide a payment to the Delaware Indians between the Kansas Delawares and other members of the tribe. Bulette urges Jones to do this because he believes the bill is unfair and self-serving.
