Scope and Contents

The Indian Health Service is proposing to close the Pawnee Indian Hospital and enter into an expanded Contract Health Care program. This proposal is being met with some dissention from the local community, who would prefer to keep the hospital open. A meeting is being held to discuss the matter with government officials.
