Scope and Contents

The Office of Indian Education is currently reviewing applications for fiscal year 1981 grants. Several inconsistencies were found in the reporting of the Indian student count, so all districts will be asked to reverify the count according to the procedures outlined in the January 29, 1980 letter from Dr Gerald E. Gipp. For fiscal year 1982, the Office of Indian Education will require that a complete 506 Form be on file for each student counted at the time the application is submitted.
