Transcript - Full
Senator Hugh Scott of Pennsylvania talks about Richard Nixon. I think people want a change. I think people want a better way of doing things. I think people want the Nixon-Agnew ticket. We hear a lot of talk today that the American dollar isn't going as far as it should. What about domestic fiscal responsibility? Well, the problem is that the present Democratic administration believes that if you just spend enough money on enough projects, some of it will get down to the people who need it. That's called the trickle-down theory. It's wasteful, it's costly, it destroys initiative, and it creates enormous inflation. Therefore, we've got to stop it, and Richard Nixon's the man to do it.
