Senator George Murphy of California talks about Richard Nixon. ...established as it is guaranteed under the Constitution, and I think Richard Nixon can do this, I think he can do it very quickly and very effectively. Senator Murphy, any man running for president today in the United States has to have some qualification for a deep and profound understanding of world affairs. How do you think about Richard M. Nixon's qualifications? Well, I think Richard M. Nixon probably is more qualified in world affairs than anybody that I know. And I'm sure of one thing with Richard Nixon. He'll decide all these foreign policy matters on what's good for America, not what may be good for some other country in the world. I think the time has come and we need this.
