Transcript - Full

The Republican Party in California is in grave danger. The San Francisco Chronicle comments on the threat of a GOP takeover by the John Birch Society whose leader continues to call General Eisenhower a communist and a traitor to his country. At the other end of the state, the San Diego Evening Tribune goes on to comment that at a Rockefeller rally there several days ago, a young Republican passed out pamphlets, quote, the socialist views of Nelson Rockefeller, unquote. It's a hate sheet by a man named Courtney who was also a member of the John Birch Society. As a matter of fact, Courtney also has written a pamphlet questioning the patriotism of Ambassador Henry Cabot Lodge. I urge you as chairman of the Rockefeller delegation to vote for the Rockefeller delegation on June 2. Republicans, vote for Rockefeller June 2.
